and the winner is cheyenne

I know. I know. This is old news, but for those that have never had the chance to experience I Know my Kids a Star, here’s a recap. Thank you, TiVo.
This is the final episode and Cheyenne, Mckenzie and Mary Jo are the last one’s standing. Who will the winner? My vote is for Mary Jo but let’s be honest this show isn’t voting for the most talented kid. This show is voting for the parent who can handle Hollywood the most. Based on that I’m sure Mary Jo will be going home.
They just sent Mary Jo and Pam home, and what does mom say on the road back home, “You’re acting coach is fired, you vocal coach is fired and maybe your dancing instructor.” I wish I could buy Mary Jo the Donald Trump doll so she can tell her mom, “You’re fired!”
So the stand off is between McKenzie and Cheyenne and the cat fat starts when Helene is upset because McKenzie took her song. She is one negative Natalie, I have no idea how her daughter made it this far. She is the perfect example of the parent I don’t want to be. Her negative attitude brings her daughter down and in the end is probably one of the reasons she wasn’t selected.
Cheyenne is the one that came out as the big star and her mother’s attitude was stellar. I loved her advice about outfit Cheyenne didn’t think was “her.” Her mom basically said your outfit doesn’t make you who you are, you make the outfit!
Watching I Know my Kids a Star was an eye opening experience. It shows how much influence we as parents have on our kid’s lives. Until next season…
