I have been beating myself up lately, upset that I have to work full-time, pissed that my business ventures haven’t taken off fast enough to replace my income, frustrated that I spend most of my time on the computer. Most days I am rushing my kids to bed so I can get some work done. Before you give me the worst mother of year award, I already feel like that.
It’s all for a greater good I tell myself. I’m doing it for them I repeat over and over again in my head. I Sknow that I am missing out on something.
I remind myself that it takes more time than I am allowing be a successful entrepreneur. But still it makes me upset and I often through myself pity parties. Why isn’t anything going the way I want it to?
The feeling comes and goes, like today’s stock market, I have bad days and I have good days. Today, well I’m somewhere in the middle.
That is until I read an article on Smashing Magazine, completely unrelated to what I was feeling but it applies and I’ll explain how.
blog her conference, i want to go

The dates and location have finally been an announced and I really, really want to go. The 5th annual conference will be in Chicago, July 23-25. I wish they would have one in California or anywhere just a tiny bit closer. Maybe the 6th annual event could be in Las Vegas or San Diego. Anyhow I am so excited and hope that I can get out there to the event.
I think I’ll be asking for airline gift cards this year for Christmas.

15 days of marketing has been keeping me very busy this past couple of weeks. I’ve been trying to complete all the homework assignments, process orders for my store and write my regular blogs.
Oh and take care of the kids, work, clean, and on and on.
So my apologizes for taking so long to respond to your tag, Janine @ Two fer the Price of One. In fact I have dismissed the pile of clothes sitting on the couch that need to be folded just to get this done. They aren’t going anywhere – trust me. So here are my fives.

This last weekend I decided to make some cookies with my Bizzie Princess, not just any cookies though, play dough cookies. Yes they are edible. No they aren’t made with real play dough. They are basically really bright sugar cookies.
Bizzie Princess loves to cook, so hopefully a kids cooking class will be in her future and we won’t have to eat out so much.

Twitter, I think I love ya!
I have only been using Twitter for a few months now, not expecting much, just another social networking tool, right? At first I didn’t really get it. Micro Blogging what’s the big deal.
What is micro blogging, you ask?
A form of blogging that allows users to send brief text updates, you know what you see those teenagers doing on the phones all the time. I’m a teenager in a 30+ year old, 20+ year old body. You can micro blog on facebook, instant message would be a form of micro blogging. You get the idea.
What is vlogging you ask? You probably didn’t but I mentioned earlier, so just in case.
Vlogging aka Video Blogging is just like it sounds. It’s blogging on video.
