It’s not just for professionals (clearly I’m not one), it’s a community of professional, hobbyist and amateurs all coming together to help each other take better pictures.

I haven’t heard of clickinmoms before but it sounds like a pretty cool site. Anyway, I have a Sony A-700. I’ve had it for about 1 1/2 now so I really couldn’t justify spending additional money on the camera I REALLY want, which is a Nikon D700. I haven’t checked lately but I bet there is probably a newer and “better” camera out on the market by now.
I’m currently using a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT. I would love to have a lens better for portraits but they are over $500!
