I already know what you are going to ask.  What is a “transitional” mom entrepreneur?

Simply put it is a mother who is working a day job while trying to launch her own business on the side, hoping for success to be speedy so she can follow her real passion and dreams.

I am a “transitional” mom entrepreneur. During the day I work a “job” and at night, on lunch breaks, just about any time that I don’t have to work or I’m not on mom duty I am working on building my businesses.

hp-miniInserting why I need the really cool HP Mini 1000. It would be really cool if someone would by me (hint, hint dear hubby) the really cool, really small, and totally fashionable mini laptop so I can easily work where ever I go.

I realized that I don’t really talk to much about my own experiences as an transitional entrepreneur on this blog, which was one of the reasons I started it in the first place. Don’t get me wrong I love posting the interviews, tips and advice, but I think it’s also important to share the struggles too. After all the life of a transitional entrepreneur is tough, not only do you have to juggle family time and your business, but you also have a “job” to through in the mix.

I recently overbooked myself for two meetings during the same time slot, oops. Check out how I managed to pull through in my very first confession of a transitional mom entrepreneur (). I would love to hear how other moms juggling it all do it. Have you gotten caught working while at work? Have you had to turn down important events and/or engagements for you business because of your “job”.

I am also looking for guest writers for bizziemommy.com, if you would like to share your story as a transitional entrepreneur please email me.
