So I decided to add one other thing to my “to do” list this week. I decided to try out Jessica’s 15 days of Marketing on jessicaknows.com.
I need to seriously start marketing my sites if I want to transition into “wahmdom” sometime this decade. My goal is much sooner than that of course. So of course on the first day we got home work and it’s been a long time since I used that term. My position is probably different then others because not only am I a business owner, but I am also a blogger. So after following her recommendations I signed up for some really cool sites. My homework assignment: To list 3 of our favorite brands, so these are first three that jumped out at me.
1. Blackberry – I didn’t see anyone else mention them, but I love my blackberry and can’t wait to upgrade to the new touch screen model. I swear I would never get a blackberry but once I got it I can’t imagine life without it (LOL they just aired a bb commercial on TV as I’m typing)
2. Express – for years I bought all of my clothes at this store. It was easy; I usually just bought the outfits on the mannequins. Plus the clothes were pretty inexpensive at the time. I still shop there today. Not as much with this crazy economy.
3. Target – I have to say I’m a Target junkie, so much that my husband hates when I go because he knows I will buy way more then we need. It’s like my Home Depot.

I can’t believe I forgot to mention Target as one of my 3! For me, that’s like forgetting my kid’s name. Gah.
