As part of this database, you can conveniently search full-time, part-time, temporary, summer, babysitting, live-in and live-out nannies by zip code 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Nannies4hire.com database is designed to easily assist families in finding a quality nanny for their specific needs and requirements. In addition, helpful tools are available, including sample interview questions, a sample reference form and a sample contract. Nannies4hire.com also gives you advice, tips and information that will help you and your nanny connect on a social and personal level.

What inspired you start your business?
I started out by owning a Nanny Placement Agency. From there, we started Nannies4hire.com, an online nanny and family database. We then saw the need of families wanting short-term/on-call babysitters and that’s when Babysitters4hire.com was formed.

How long have you been in business?
We have been affiliated with the nanny business since 1987.

What did you do in your past work life?
I was a nanny and held several manager positions at previous jobs. I purchased a Nanny Placement Agency after working there for several years.

What is your ideal workday like?

Working full-time and running all 3 of my business ventures; A Nanny Placement Agency, Nannies4hire.com and Babysitters4hire.com; I couldn’t do it without the help of my nanny who helps with my 2 boys ages 8 & 3.
When the end of the day is here, it is all about family time.

What have been some of your major successes?

Finding something I truly enjoy doing. It doesn’t seem like a job.

What have been some of your major challenges?

Running the 3 businesses but also trying to be actively involved with my family (I never want to miss out on a child’s special moment).

On those impossible days, what motivates you to keep going?

I have always been a driven person and have an attitude to succeed.

Do you have a motivational quote?
Good things come to those who work hard.

What is your balancing secret in managing a business and family?
I couldn’t do it without an extra pair of hands in the household. My nanny definitely pulls everything together so my kids never miss a beat.

If there was one piece of advice you could give to your children about running a successful business, what would it be?

Believe in what you are working toward. Don’t give up and work hard.

Do you have a favorite business tool and/or resource?
I have so many wonderful people who help me run the business; from secretaries, web designers and PR firms, just to name a few. I couldn’t do it without them.

What is next for your business?
We will soon be launching a site, Care4hire.com which will offer housekeepers, pet sitters, tutors, babysitters, elder/companion care, personal assistants, etc.

Your two cents sales pitch?
Babysitters4hire.com
In today’s society; parents are so busy and need an extra set of hands, whether it be for a few hours to a few days. Parents can go online 24/7 and use the easy to use zip code search to find sitters in their area that are ready for work.

Nannies4hire.com
Finding a nanny is one of the most important jobs you will have. Nannies4hire.com has made it easy for you to use the zip code search to find nannies right there in your area. You can save thousands of dollars as compared to using a Nanny Placement Agency.
