Tell us about The Boy and Girl Gender Diet Plans

I am a mom, nurse, and owner of www.boygirldiet.com. I specialize in fertility and reproductive nursing, specifically gender selection. Through my years of practice, it was my job to provide education and support to individuals, couples, and families regarding fertility, pregnancy, prenatal health and gender selection options.

Where do you get your idea?

Patients would always ask me about the influence of diet and the effects it has on gender. Out of the several natural gender selection methods that were used over decades, the only method, proven through clinical research, is sex selection by ionic equilibrium, i.e. modification of diet before pregnancy.

The internet is swarmed with diet “guidelines” or lists of foods to avoid to have a baby boy or girl. These lists and diet tips were certainly not sufficient information to properly alter the body chemistry necessary to influence gender. Consequently, for the next three years, we proceeded to explore theories, journal articles, and case studies. Through research, we created detailed meal plans that were designed to increase the likelihood of conceiving a baby with the gender of one’s preferred choice. The Boy and Girl Gender Diet Plans are based on a framework of clinical research (based on over 7,000 participants) which supports the notion of altering a woman’s diet, in an attempt to effectively achieve conceiving a baby with the gender of her preference.

What inspired you to launch The Boy and Girl Gender Diet Plans?

When I started working in this field, I was pregnant with my second child. My husband and I already had a daughter and although we most importantly wanted to have a healthy baby, I always wondered what it would be like to have another girl. I’m best friends with my sister, and I couldn’t get it out of my mind that I wanted my daughter to have a sister too!

Tell us about the diet?

We provide a nutritional gender selection program proven in clinical trial to be 96% effective. There are two meal plans. A Boy Gender Diet and a Girl Gender Diet. Each meal plan has been specially designed to ensure the diet includes the necessary body chemistry changes required for preconception gender selection. The daily menus include suggested meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and beverages, for a fourteen day cycle. We’ve also included easy to follow recipes and a shopping list.

What a woman eats in the weeks immediately prior to conception plays an important role in determining the sex of her baby. By consciously adhering to a well planned preconception diet, a woman can increase her chances of conceiving a baby of the sex she desires.
The program is easy, safe, confidential and best of all- it works!

What is the most rewarding part of being a Mompreneur?

Being a mom always comes first. Having the flexibility of being able to schedule meetings and projects around my children’s activities is important to me. Being able to do both is very rewarding.
11. What is the most difficult part of being a Mompreneur?
Not having enough hours in the day. Isn’t this every moms’ complaint though?

Do you have advice for someone that wants to start a new career as a Mompreneur?

Choose something you really believe in and love what you do. During the start-up phase, your hours as a Mompreneur, will most likely start before your family wakes up, continue during nap times and go on into the wee hours of the night. If it is an idea or business you believe in, it will be easier to be committed. It will all be worth it!

We plan on featuring Vegetarian Boy and Girl Diet Meal Plans, in 2008.

How many kids do you have in your household?

I am the proud mother of two kids, both girls.
