The deadline is fast approaching but if you love photography this is a contest you don’t want to miss. The Nikon festival is open to the public and all aspiring filmmakers and photographers.
The theme of the festival is to share “A Day through your Lens.”
Capture the essence of your day in a video of 140 seconds or less. It can be funny, touching, profound, and/or astonishing. It can be about your entire day or about the smallest detail.
Go to www.nikonfestival.com and upload your video today.
You will be able to instantly share it with your Twitter followers and you can also place it in your Facebook feed. Share your video with all your friends so they can vote for you!
Don’t forget to check out Ashton Kutcher’s 140-second journey in Africa.
The Nikon Festival runs through December 15, which only leaves one week to tape and edit a 140 second video for the festival.
In January 2010, one video submission will be presented with the Judges Award ($100,000 and a Nikon D5000) and another video will be presented with the Audience Award ($25,000 and a Nikon D5000).
