BlogHer is being held at the Sheraton Hotel this year – but because I secured my ticket so late in the game I actually won’t be staying there. This is fine because now I’m forced to check out the city a bit more. I’m not much of a wonderer so this is good thing. So where am I a staying you ask?
I’m staying at the beautiful Affinia Chicago!

Affinia Chicago offers an experience in total comfort, customized by you. Did you know you can select your own pillow for your sleeping bliss? Choose from a feather & down, sound, hypoallergenic, magnetic therapy, buckwheat or Swedish memory pillow. Okay I didn’t even know they had buckwheat pillows did you? Which one should I try?
You can also try one of their Experience Kits. Get out and explore the city with the Walking Tour Kit, fill tranquil with their StayFit Kit and they even have a BYOB guidebook you can take to explore the local wine boutiques.

Today we drove halfway to Sacramento and dropped our kids off in the parking lot at Harris Ranch. Since I’m going to BlogHer this week I thought it would be nice to get some work done before I leave.
Oh did I forget to mention their grandparents were there?
Harris Ranch is a good half way point between Sacramento and Los Angeles so we meet there and they take the kids back to Sacramento for a week.
So even though I will miss them, it will be good for me to catch up on some much needed rest and catch up on some product reviews. And of course get ready for BlogHer! I’m so excited to be leaving in just a couple of days.
I decided that with so much going on I should start getting things together now. Since I still have to do some clothes shopping to pack, I decided to collect all the things I will need for my conference bag.

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of ATTITUDE on life.
ATTITUDE, to me, is more important than facts.
It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.
ATTITUDE
It will make or break a company…a school…a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past…we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable.

The best thing about having two kids is watching them play and interact with each other. We need these moments to balance out the fighting, toy stealing and the competing for moms lap.

I don’t really post that many videos on BizzieMommy.com but when I found this one by HubSpot in my inbox this morning I just had to share.
If you don't know, you better ask somebody! Have a great Tuesday!
