So I’m sure you’ve all heard of whrrl since you all voted for me during their BlogHer contest, right? But incase you haven’t whrrl is a storytelling application for the web and mobile that lets you share your stories in real-time. Much like twitter however, whrrl incorporates pictures and can easily be published on facebook or twitter.

I have been playing around with whrrl for a couple of months now and love it. If you have an iPhone then using whrrl is even easier, why? Because there’s an app for it! I love being able to show and tell everyone what’s going on with me, without having to write a blog post.

You can even add a widget to your blog so everyone can check out your whrrl stories.

To get started with whrrl all you have to do is set up a FREE account, you can log in by email, phone or even facebook. If you have an iPhone you’ll want to download the app as well.

ON THE IPHONE
You can either start your own story by clicking on the “Begin a Story” icon or click on the people icon in the left corner and see what your friends are up to. Once you start a story you can publish it via facebook or twitter to all of your friends.

I’m so excited because whrrl now let’s you start a story directly from your computer. Prior to this update you had to start the story from you phone and then would be able to add to it later to tell your side of the story.
