Oh boy have I had a busy past two weeks. Last weekend we negotiated a deal to rent a 3 bedroom house on a Friday night, signed paper work on Saturday and then made the crazy decision to move ALL of our stuff on Sunday. Talk about BAD planning. After the craziness on Sunday we spent the rest of the week going back and forth to the condo and back to the new place to collect those final items. And to top it off the gas wasn’t turned on in the new place so we had to shower at the old and to TOP that off we had no INTERNET!
Yes I think Internet access is more important than having hot water, so what? I’m a digital junkie that should be expected, right?
Anyhow I have been diligently working on my new office space a.k.a headquarters for the Get Organized Challenge and found a really cool product that I’m sure any work at home, entrepreneur, mom of toddlers could use. I’m a crazy note-taking mom, I like to write everything down and sometimes I wish I could just write on the walls. Well now I can and so can you! I’m not talking about chalk board paint.
Personally I’ve always wanted to use it but I was worried that the chalk dust would get all over the carpet. Our new place has dark green carpet so chalk dust will show up like crazy.
I’m talking about creating a dry-erase surface. I LOVE dry-erase boards but I always hated how ugly they were and how awkward they looked in a combined space like a home office. In our condo we had two dry-erase boards in the living room – felt like we were sitting in a conference room.
So I decided to try IdeaPaint a dry-erase surface paint that can turn almost any surface into a writeable surface. You can create a creative space anywhere you want. Grab a couple of markers and the kids can go to town on the walls, my son has already started tagging. With IdeaPaint I can control his canvas and wipe it off with ease.

IdeaPaint is easy to install and can be applied to anything you can paint – drywall, plaster, chalkboard, tables, refrigerators, bunk beds, and storage containers. All you have to do it prep and prime the surface before application. They recommend using KILZ Clean Start Primer which can be found at Wal-Mart or Lowes.
If you are worried about the application process or have questions about IdeaPaint check out the help section on www.ideapaint.com.
Also IdeaPaint is offering all participants of the Get Organized Challenge a 10% discount on their order, another reason why you should clear out your clutter and enter to win our fabulous prize pack!

How cool! Makes chalkboard paint seem so…yesterday
I agree – IdeaPaint is great, but you can't get the smaller size cans off their website anymore.
and DickBlick has it cheaper, it's about $75/can. Here's the direct link to the product on their website
