I am guilty. I am completely indecisive. I always manage to find a reason to change things. The font is off, the colors are muted, the theme is lost, the domain is boring, etc. I have changed my blog, my store, and even my portfolio wither it’s the design or the name more than three times this year.
Finally I am taken a STAND!
I can’t believe this all started with just a simple promotional blog for my online store LaLa Baby Boutique. Ideas started popping in my head from the left to the right and I ended up four blogs in addition to my online boutique. This became impossible to manage with two busy babies, a full-time job, and a husband.
I had so many ideas and no time to execute them I was forced to come up with a new plan and more importantly one that I can manage.
So I have changed my blog to BizzieMommy.com which I think suits me very well, as I am a busy mommy. I have two busy kids, a full-time “job”, an online baby boutique (which is another full-time) job, two blogs, and one husband. Maybe if I had two of those I would have less work to do. I’ll have to work on that.
I will be incorporating my other blogs into bizziemommy.com which means I will be transferring MommyStartups.com to a section on BizzieMommy.com. I will be hosting interviews from other “Bizzie Mommies” who run their own business while trying to balance motherhood. I hope to inspire other mothers and fuel their desire to find their own path to financial freedom. In addition I will even update and provide tips that I have discovered on my own path. I believe as woman and as mothers we should all find our own path to financial freedom. Because with that you don’t have to depend on a job, a man or anyone but yourself and that is a power we all deserve.
In addition, all of my posts from lalababy.com will be now hosted under the bizziemommy.com, so any product reviews that have been previously written will now be available on BizzieMommy.com. I will be sending everyone a new URL on where they can find their product review.
I hope you like all the changes. I know it will help me manage my projects better!
What I learned: Managing a business and a family is a lot of work. Keep your goals and to do lists at a manageable level so you don’t get discouraged.
